Engages educators and students in action packed cultural immersion experiences throughout different areas of Costa Rica. Every day presents new excursions to study and explore the diverse flora and fauna, geography, climate, natural resources, as well as the fascinating Latin customs and traditions of Costa Rica.
Activities Include:
- Central Valley - explore the small community of Atenas
- 100 year-old goldmine and waterfall area
- Palo Verde National Park and Rafting on the Corobici River
- Volcano Miravalles - thermal springs and mud bath
- Volcano Arenal - canopy tour and night lava observation
- National Museum and National Theater of San Jose
- Carara Biological Reserve and Playa Esterillos Oeste
