Participants will have the opportunity to spend a few "hours in the life" of a local professional or tradesperson who is aligned with the student's interests, vocation, or career path.
By leveraging new language skills and cultural understandings in real life work scenarios by spending a morning, an hour, or “a day in the life” with a local veterinarian who also spades the local street dogs, or a cook at the noon hour in the local market, participants will reach a deeper level of engagement in the community.
These interactions with a local partner in the student’s area of vocational interest or career path will foster cross-cultural interaction, enhance language skills, encourage interpersonal understanding all while cultivating personal development and growth.
